Parilla Levriere / Greyhound 150cc scooter

Advertising flyer for the Moto Parilla Levriere scooter. Curiously the Parilla was sold as the Levriere in the UK and the Greyhound in the US. Obviously enough Levriere is Italian for Greyhound but why they would think that the Brits wouldn't need this translating when the Americans would is baffling.

The Levriere was introduced in 1952 as a 125 and became a 150 in 1953. Production continued up until 1958. It doesn't appear that the Levriere was a big seller, I can vaguely recall seeing a survivor but it is certainly a very rare scooter these days.

There's more info on the Parilla marque on the Moto Parilla North America page.
