BSA Bantam at the gates

You couldn't ever call this a great photo but there is something evocative about it as an image of daily life in times past. There's a BSA Bantam queueing up alongside a bicycle at the factory gates, I'm reasonably sure it is a Featherbed Norton behind. Almost all the factory chimneys have gone now from Britain, along with most heavy industry. It's a summers day and the scene looks almost idyllic though I suspect the working conditions inside were anything but.
