Miserable weather last Sunday but thirteen riders still turned up for the VMCC Wessex Veteran and Vintage section's Shearstock Run. A fine spirit for riding on despite the rain and on a wonderful selection of machinery.
This early twenties Douglas is in a very wonderful unrestored condition.
Detail of the Douglas' tank.
The Douglas' oil sight gauge, pump and gear lever.
Envy inducing cammy Velocette.
Veteran Triumph TT Roadster.
Two riding positions on the Triumph and a noise adjustable silencer for town or the open road.
Rather stunning James v-twin.
Close up on the James.
I'm a sucker for an unrestored motorcycle and this one is a peach. Definitely a machine I would make room in my garage for. 1914 Bradbury v-twin.
Close up on the Bradbury.
Bradbury full view.
Bradbury engine and primary.
Ian Clarke gamely sets off on a little 148cc Villiers powered Excelsior.
