Chimay Classic Bikes 2014 pt 2

More pictures from Chimay Classic Bikes 2014. This time mostly of machinery to be seen in the paddock area.

Konig two-stroke flat four GP racer. An outside contender
giant killer of the late sixties / early seventies. The motor
was developed from an outboard marine engine.

Implausible toothed belt belt routing to drive the disc valve
on the Konig. The rubber bands driving the water pump also
seem unlikely. All the same it worked and worked well.

Exquisite 'Special Barthelemy' ABC flat twin derived home
brewed racer.

Detail on the Special Barthelemy.

Norton 350cc 40M Manx with Manx Grand Prix history.

Purposeful looking Norton Commando.

This novel use for a spare Beemer rocker box cover tickled me.

Original paint Ariel 350 NG was used as a pit bike by a Dutch
crew who raced a similar race tuned bike.

This 700 Royal Enfield twin powered big wheeled sidecar racer
oozes character and is typical of machinery raced back in the
day. It was still holding its own against a lot more trick machinery.

Brilliant original period Dunlop sidecar racing rim and tyre on
the Enfield combo.

Smart Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone cafe racer in the campsite.

Ducati single racer detail.
