1953 and BSA were at the top of the game producing a broad range of quality machines for the everyman. There was a coherent style that went across the range. The C range were commuter or learner bikes for the buyer who had a little bit more money and didn't fancy a two stroke Bantam. Fairly low on thrills but high on dependability, the Cs clearly resembled their bigger brothers in the B range.
