Dayton Albatross scooters came to market in 1955. In 1957 the new twin cylinder model was launched. The Villiers twin engine is a sweet motor and though the Dayton is a heavy beast and far removed from its Italian cousins it had some success in its time and was widely used in sporting scooter events. In my mind the nicest British scoot by a long way.
